Coming Home (for a little while)
Dear Pa (and the rest of the clan),
If you haven't already heard from the family grapevine, I'm coming to Melbourne for the first week in October. I will be travelling from Adelaide where I will be attending the 2007 Australian Linguistic Society conference.
I'm so excited to see all of you. I will organise some kind of 'do' closer to the day.

Dear Hooch,
Look foreward to seeing you in October. John is visiting from Hong Kong. He returns on Sunday. It is great to have him here At present he is at Aireys but returns on Thursday. Nana and I hope that everything is well with you.
